Welcome to Retreat Yourself Holiday Edition

The holiday season is a busy one for us all, and finding some time for ourselves is hard, but especially necessary in these busy days. We offer you a planned out weekend, with yoga classes, meditations, and recipes that you can do whenever it fits your busy schedule, so that you get all the benefits for body and mind. 

How You Should Approach This Retreat

 If you have been following my journey for a while, I shared a blog post about taking a day off from being a mom. Now have been making myself take some metime every week and I highly recommend it for people who need a break, especially mamas! This online retreat is meant to give you some days fo relaxation in this busy holiday season, and without leaving home! I have prepared some classes,  you have the flexibility to complete the classes in any sequence, though I suggest following the order presented below for optimal flow.  Meditations can be practiced at your convenience, ideally following a yoga session. Remember to be mindful of your food choices over the next few days -or enjoy some of the delicious recipes we have prepared for you-and stay hydrated. If you have any health conditions or restrictions, please consult your doctor and listen to your body. I hope you enjoy this at home retreat. Hopefully next time we meet in person!

Practice in your own time

Retreat Yourself Day 1

 Today is the first day of Retreat Yourself, and I would like you to join me in a quick but strong upper body strengthening class. Women tend to carry a lot of stress on their shoulders, so this video is to give you the strength you need. 

Retreat Yourself Day 2

 Did you know that feelings of fear, guilt, anger and anxiety are stored in the hips. Follow along as I guide you through a series of gentle stretches designed to open up your hips and release tension in this often tight area of the body. Incorporating these stretches into your regular routine can help improve your posture, alleviate lower back pain, and increase overall mobility. So grab a mat and join me as we work towards more open and flexible hips.

Retreat Yourself Day 3

 In this 20 minute gentle yoga flow, I'll guide you through a full body stretch to release tension and destress. This perfect beginner-friendly yoga routine is great for anyone looking to relax their mind and body. Join us for some peaceful and calming yoga poses that will leave you feeling refreshed and renewed. 

Meditate

Try this after a Yoga class!

 This guided meditation is designed to help you cultivate self-belief, boost your confidence, and strengthen your inner resolve. In just 10 minutes, you will be guided through calming and empowering affirmations, visualizations, and breathing exercises to help you tap into your inner power and believe in yourself.
